Heart Dance Training

In the early 2000's, Pennie combined her extensive knowledge of child development with her exemplary skills in instructional-design and curriculum development to bring us her Heart Dance Training: the steps to dancing with me in the heart.  Over the years, Pennie ran around 40 foundation courses and supported facilitators in taking The Culture of Kindness into local communities across New Zealand. 

To be a certified facilitator of Pennie Brownlee Heart Dance Parent-Infant and Parent-Toddler classes in your local community, the following training is required.

Pennie Brownlee Heart Dance Facilitator Training
The steps to dancing with me in the heart

I. HEART DANCE FOUNDATION        
Module 1: The Sacred Partnership Dance (4 days)
Module 2: Movement and Development in the Dance of Life (4 days)
Taken together, this course includes a 2 week observation and processing time in between the modules.

*NEW* Foundation Intensive (4 days)

Module 3: Intelligence Unfolding Through Play (4 days)
[previously named ‘Dance with me in the Heart - Level Two’ and ‘Play Space’].
Optional: Module 3 is only a requirement for those planning to take Level 2 training to become a facilitator of Parent-Toddler Classes.

II. HEART DANCE FACILITATOR TRAINING        
Level 1: Parent-Infant Facilitator Training (2 days)
After successfully completing Modules 1 & 2

Level 2: Parent-Toddler Facilitator Training (2 days)
After successfully completing Modules 1, 2 & 3
[previously named ‘Heart Dancing for Facilitators - Level Two’]

The become an ENDORSED FACILITATOR through the Pennie Brownlee Foundation Endorsement Programme both I. HEART DANCE FOUNDATION and II. HEART DANCE FACILITATOR TRAINING must be completed.
